  2. Q: If I quit EW while editing a document, the local defaults are not
  3.    saved.
  4. A: For sure, local defaults for a given file are saved if the
  5.    Autosave Options and Log Session checkboxes have been set from
  6.    the Control Center.
  7.    Saving options in a file is another topic. The Save Options As...
  8.    command is only here to save Local or Global options in a file
  9.    (generally different from EW.INI) that will be reloaded when the
  10.    user wants to switch to another set of options while editing.
  11.    I think there's a confusion here. Local Options are reloaded for
  12.    a file only when the Log Session flag is ON. Otherwise EW doesn't
  13.    even look at the Local Options stored for this file in EW.INI.
  14.    Is this flag is not set, EW saves and restores absolutely nothing
  15.    relative to a specific file. I think this is clearly stated in
  16.    the documentation. I the user doesn't ask EW to "remember" the
  17.    previous session, it doesn't. But I can certify that this process
  18.    works flawlessly.

  20. Q: The font information is not saved.
  21. A: If the Autosave Options flag is not ON, EW will "forget" which font
  22.    has been used in the preivous session.

  24. Q: When I "Save Options As..", the dialog box prompts me with *.ini,
  25.    but I cannot list the *.ini files in the USER directory.
  26. A: In EW, all Save As... dialog box list only the directories. This
  27.    is the behavior of the Borland library I used. If we have more
  28.    complaints about this I may consider changing the code but until
  29.    now, nobody found this to be a problem.
